Northern NSW Under 15s finish on top of group

October 9, 2009

Northern NSW Under 15s have finished their group matches undefeated after a 1-0 win over Victoria Country yesterday at the FFA National Youth Championships for Boys at Coffs Harbour.

Just one goal from Paddy Coelho in the 5th minute and some solid Northern defence was enough to wrap up the top spot in their group and a place in today’s semi-final against Victoria Metro.

In the Under 14s, a 1-1 draw yesterday with Victoria Country saw them finish third overall in their group and a match up today with Football West to determine 5th/6th place.

The Under 15 semi-final gets under way at 12.20pm, whilst the Under 14s play-off for 5th/6th place kicks off at 5.30pm.
