Police from Richmond Local Area Command manned a mobile Police Station in the CBD of Lennox Head on Friday and Saturday nights.
The bus was accompanied by general duties and highway patrol units.
The focus of the mobile bus was for saturation community-based policing of the village and surrounds, including beats, mobile patrols, licensed premises inspections and stationary RBT.
As part of the operation Police moved-on several groups of intoxicated youth, intervening in a volatile confrontation between two groups of youth.
One male was charged with offensive language and another for failing to comply with a move-on direction and with offensive behaviour.
Police issued several infringement notices and charged a 22-year-old male and 45-year-old female with Prescribed Concentration of Alcohol offences (Drink Drive).
Duty Officer Inspector Greg Moore said: “The overall response to the increased police presence was again overwhelmingly positive, with no reported crime in the village on Saturday evening/Sunday morning.
“The mobile station will again be used in Lennox following the positive response”

Police are seeking information from the public in relation to two males described as Tall Male 190cm, Shoulder-length hair, 18-20 years of age and
Shorter Male 165cm, average length hair, 18 years of age who have allegedly assaulted and robbed a 27-year-old male.
The victim was walking home around 1.11am on Sunday when he was approached near the pedestrian walkover. He was robbed of a small amount of cash.

Lismore Detectives have arrested and charged another two males following the spate of robberies which occurred late March.
Two males aged 20 and 17 have been charged with robbery in company of an 18-year-old Lismore male who was seriously injured, suffering a broken jaw after being assaulted and robbed at 11.30pm on Saturday 22 March in Ballina Street, Lismore.
The 20-year-old was arrested on Thursday morning and the 17-year-old was arrested on Friday afternoon following continuing investigations by detectives into the assaults.
Detective Sergeant Shane Diehm said: “Detectives will continue to investigate the assaults following several good leads from members of the public.”
