Broadwater murder suspect arrested in NT

Following a co-ordinated search of bushland, Northern Territory Police have captured Jonathon Andrew Stenberg.
Mr Stenberg has been arrested on a warrant for the murder of a 54-year-old male at Broadwater, on the 21st of June, 2012.
Mr Stenberg fled to the Northern Territory and was sighted on Tuesday afternoon, sparking a major police manhunt.
On the sixth day of Operation Inferno, officers from the Territory Response Group surrounded Mr Stenberg just after 3pm today.
“He was armed but surrendered to police without incident,” said Crime Commander Richard Bryson.
“He was sighted and captured in the primary search area where police had been concentrating resources.”
