Police seek information on Casino shooting incident

Lismore and Casino detectives are seeking witnesses or anyone with information in relation to a shooting incident of an 18-year-old male around 10pm on Sunday night.

The incident allegedly occurred in Johnston Street, Casino, 50m east of Clarke Street, Casino.

Anyone who may have heard shots or seen anything are asked to contact Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800-333-000.

The male underwent surgery at Lismore Base Hospital for a gunshoot wound to the stomach.

He is in a serious stable condition.
