Ballina police to hold young driver education night

In an effort to reduce the number of young adults involved in serious motor vehicle collisions in the area, Ballina Police have co-ordinated a young adult driver education night to be held on Wednesday evening.
- Time & Date: 7pm–9pm Wednesday 24th of September, 2008.
- Venue: Spinnakers Room, Ballina RSL Club, 246 River Street, Ballina.
The aim of the event is to engage young adult drivers on the subject of driver behaviour and technique.
The format for the evening will include informative and interesting presentations from guest speakers including Mark Robinson, V8 Dirt Modified Speedway Car racing driver (current NSW State Champion and former Australian Champion), and representatives from the Police Rescue and Ballina Road Crash Rescue Units.
Organisers are encouraging all interested young adult drivers (17–25 years old), and other interested parties, to attend the presentation. Admission to the event is free.
