Aub Eardley appointed as Ballina, Byron business facilitator

The Northern Rivers Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) has announced the appointment of their Business Facilitator for the Ballina and Byron Bay regions.
Aub Eardley is now offering free, one-on-one professional business advice to help grow businesses within our region.
He brings over 35 years of high-level business experience to the role.
After successfully running large retail operations for 20 years, he founded the Business Enterprise Centre in Cessnock in the mid 1990s before going on to run the Botany BEC, which was awarded Best National BEC in 2003.
“I am thrilled to be able to work with the BEC again,” said Aub.
“It’s a tremendous service that really benefits the sustainability of our region.”
An experienced educator, Aub lectured at the Bankstown TAFE in Small Business Management for seven years and has written a small business course that is accredited by VETAB.
He loves working with small businesses, helping them to develop. He holds a B.Comm (Hons) from UNSW.
The BEC exists to support small and medium enterprises to be better at business by offering free one-on-one confidential consulting services, covering:
- Marketing and promotion
- Starting up a business
- Accounting, administration and legal
- Business plan creation/strategic planning
- Accessing government assistance
- Selling a business.
