Offenders have targeted several businesses within the Alstonville industrial complex over the weekend.
The businesses in Kays Lane were targeted after entry was forced, with significant malicious damage being caused to one in particular and a stealing from the second.
The incidents occurred between 9am Saturday and 5am on Monday morning.
Police have issued a warning to business houses to reassess security leading into the Christmas holiday period.

A Ballina male was the victim of an internet fraud between November 19th and 2pm on 29th November after attempting to purchase a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle that had been advertised.
The male has lost many thousands of dollars in the sting.
Residents are warned to double-check security of their method of payment before proceeding with internet transactions.

Police are seeking help to identify a male person who may be able to assist police with investigations of goods stolen from the beachfront and cars parked within car parks.
The male is described as 50–60 old, 175cm (5’ 10”), short straight grey hair, solid build, wearing a polo type shirt.
At the time he was driving a Queensland-registered white Toyota.

Police investigations into the stealing of computer equipment from a nursery on Sextonville Road, Casino, have arrested and charged four Casino men aged from 18 to 23 old.
A large proportion of the stolen equipment has been located.
