Police seek information over attempted child abduction in Casino

About 4.05pm on Monday 1st December 2008 an adult male attempted to forcibly take a 12-year-old boy from the rear of the Casino Plaza in Simpson Parade, Casino, police said.
“Casino Detectives wish to identify a male who may be able to assist police in this investigation,” police said.
“He is described as being of Aboriginal in appearance, dark complexion, approximately 50 years of age, 160 to 165 centimetres tall, stocky build with short grey receding hair.
“He was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and red coloured short-sleeved shirt.
“The male was last seen in Simpson Parade at the time of the incident driving an early-model blue single-cab utility with black and gold registration plates.
“An elderly female was also seated in the vehicle. The vehicle was last sighted travelling north along Hickey Street, Casino.”
