Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter airlifted a 23-year-old male from a macadamia plantation in Dunoon yesterday afternoon.
The man is believed to have been working on the property and sustained serious head injuries after the quad bike he was riding crashed into a macadamia tree at high speed.
The patient, believed to be a Sudanese national, was airlifted by Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter to Lismore Base Hospital in a serious condition.
