Driving cars through National Parks flies in the face of all of the managemant plans in place. I have a problem understanding how such an event can be given permission to go through 'The Green Cauldron" Also concerned about the State Government considering a change in legislation to override Local councils of Tweed and Kyogle. Previous rallies were in state forests of WA. This proposal is unique. Organisers have selected routes comparatively heavily habited with people and either in or touching world heritage sites, recently lauded by among others, Peter Garrett. Even tough economic times cannot justify supporting a rugby match in a museum or a car rally in the Green Caldera.
