Northern Rivers Tourism will unveil its regional marketing program and visuals to the tourism industry at a launch function on Tuesday 2 June.
NRT will reveal its Online Digital Image Library, with over 250 new images of iconic landscapes and experiences in the region, taken by local photographer David Young.
New broadcast footage including stunning aerials will showcase the iconic landscapes and experiences of the region including our magnificent coastal and hinterland nature, colourful towns and villages, creative industries, regional food, market culture and health and well-being experiences and accompanied by an emotive and powerful soundtrack.
“Over the past 12 months, Northern Rivers Tourism has been planning and developing a number of important strategic marketing initiatives to attract visitors to stay longer and experience more of the region. We’ll be announcing the details of a Co-operative Marketing Program that will roll out until the end of the year,” says CEO of Northern Rivers Tourism, Russell Mills.
“We are seeking to collaborate with the tourism industry and local government tourism organisations to really create some momentum and impact from the marketing program. The initiatives we’ll be launching will set the tone for marketing this wonderful region over the next three years.”
NRT’s investment in the range of marketing and communications initiatives totals over $420,000.
“This is a significant investment in our region’s tourism economy and we have had a team of regional professionals working on the different aspects to be featured on the night,” Mr Mills said.
The venue for the event is the new Tommys in Lismore’s CBD, which has just been opened following a multi-million dollar makeover.
