Country to the coast: dust storm arrives on the Far North Coast
September 23, 2009
A range of photos sent to us this morning from Tabulam in the west and Ballina on the coast as the statewide dust storm arrived on the Far North Coast.
As the dust arrives, health warnings have been given to young children, asthmatics and those with respiratory problems to remain indoors. A warning also to refrain from any exercise. Check out the Health Department’s website for precautions to protect yourself.
More local photos of the ‘eerie-descent’ skies are posted in the Ballina.Info blog.
