Centrelink, CSA staff gets awards
October 8, 2009
Member for Page Janelle Saffin presented the Exemplary Service Awards to Centrelink and Child Support Agency (CSA) staff at a ceremony at Lismore Centrelink office today.
Two Centrelink and one CSA staff were nominated by Ms Saffin for outstanding and exemplary service to the community and to her office.
Ms Saffin said: “It was my great pleasure to present the ESA to Jason Drew, team leader, Lismore Centrelink, who my office speaks to almost on a daily basis with constituent inquiries or issues which hopefully most of the time can be worked out.
“As well, Andrew Lorimer will actually receive his award at the Southport office due to distance, as his office is Biggera Waters. Andrew was a great support as the Centrelink information person at all my Income Support Forums across the region.
“Last but certainly not least, Bronwyn Saunders from Ballina CSA who my office also liaises with on a weekly basis for information, advice and support for my constituents. Bronwyn offers us service above and beyond and, as with Jason, may deal or speak directly with the constituents in an explanatory capacity.”
“They provide service beyond the call of duty.”
