Inaugural Lance Ferris Memorial Dinner: tickets now on sale
November 23, 2009
Volunteers are busy planning and preparing for the inaugural Australian Seabird Rescue formal fund-raising dinner to support and celebrate the great work ASR does supporting marine wildlife and educating the public along the North Coast.
The Lance Ferris Memorial Dinner, to be held at the Ballna RSL Club on Saturday December 12, is shaping up to be a great night with a three-course meal, entertainment by the Northern Rivers Conservatorium Big Band and The Big Bandidos, and lots of auction items that you could snap up for a great bargain.
Even the room is going to look amazing, being decorated by the magnificent lanterns from the Lismore Lantern Parade crew.
All funds raised will go directly to the rescue and rehabilitation of marine wildlife on the North Coast.
“Come along to celebrate and support the great work our volunteers do, and help keep Lance’s legacy alive!” ASR acting general manager Keith Williams said.
