Bob Whittle Murwillumbah Airfield to close temporarily
November 23, 2009
Tweed Shire Council advises pilots and users of the Bob Whittle Murwillumbah Airfield that the airfield will be closed from 5am (NSW time) Monday 14 December 2009 until 7pm (NSW time) Thursday 17 December 2009.
The purpose of this closure is so the council can carry out under-boring of the runway to upgrade the water supply to areas east of the airfield.
“The patience of those who use the airfield would be appreciated during this period,” the council said.
