Elderly man and woman killed in Coraki crash

Police are investigating the circumstances of a double-fatal crash near Coraki this afternoon.
About 12.15pm a Daihatsu Feroza was travelling east on the Coraki to Casino road when it appears to have left the roadway while negotiating a left-hand bend.
The car travelled over a number of raised driveways before rolling a number of times and coming to rest on its roof.
As a result, the female driver and male passenger, both believed to be aged in their late 70s, died at the scene.
Police and emergency services attended the scene and the road was closed to traffic while police investigated the crash.
Police from Richmond Local Area Command are investigating and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
