Yamba’s Raymond Laurie Sports Centre to be opened

The Raymond Laurie Sports Centre, located at the Ngayundi Yamba Sports Complex, will be officially opened by the Hon Maxine McKew MP on Wednesday, 2 December 2009.
This state-of-the-art $4 million centre is set to become a regionally significant sports tourism asset boasting a main sports hall with two 776 square metre courts, multi-function rooms, change facilities and meeting rooms.
The community is invited to attend a free Gala Day at the centre on Saturday, 12 December, 2009, from 9am to noon.
The purpose of the Gala Day is to showcase the many uses of this impressive facility such as basketball, netball, futsal, massage, yoga, personal training and much more.
Bring the family along for a sausage sizzle, have a look around and enjoy the day.
