The Pacific Highway in the vicinity of the Iluka turn-off, north of Maclean, has been closed due to fire in the area.
The Rural Fire Service says a fire burning in the vicinity of Jacky Bulbin Flat has burnt over 450ha and has forced the closure of the Pacific Highway in the vicinity of the Iluka turn-off.
“There are no properties currently under threat and it is expected that the highway will remain closed until further notice,” the RFS said.
