Four fires buring south of Woodburn

There are four separate fires burning under moderate conditions at Tabbimobil, New Italy.

Current Situation:

The fires are burning between the intersection of the Pacific Highway and The Gap Road Woodburn, south to the intersection of Iluka Road and the Pacific Highway.

Motorists are advised to take care while driving and give way to emergency vehicles in the area.

Advice:

A fire is burning in Low-Moderate fire danger conditions. Generally under these conditions there is no immediate danger to your life and fires can be easily controlled.

In Low to Moderate fire danger conditions, terrain is more likely to affect fire behaviour than weather conditions, which may cause an increase in fire intensity.
