Police appeal to locate missing 52yo man – Byron Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who has been missing from Byron Bay for more than a week.

John ‘Jack’ Garda, 52, was last seen in Byron Bay on the afternoon of Monday 8 February 2010. Mr Garda is well-known in Byron Bay and surrounding areas.

He is described as being of white/European appearance, medium build, 170-175cm tall, balding/grey hair, brown eyes and with a fair complexion.

Police ask that if anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr Garda or has any information that may assist police with their investigation to contact Byron Bay police on (02) 6685 9499 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
