CCTV images released following armed robbery at South Grafton

Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives have today released CCTV images of three men following a violent armed robbery at South Grafton in December last year.
About 11.55pm on 4 December, 2009, three armed men approached two female musicians who were packing equipment into a car outside the club on Wharf Street at South Grafton, forcing them back into the club.
All three men are reported to have been wearing balaclavas at the time, one armed with a rifle and the other two were armed with knives.
Three males and two females inside the club were threatened at gunpoint and forced to lie on the ground, while a female staff member had a knife held to her throat.
Another female staff member was grabbed around the neck, threatened with a knife and forced into the cash room, before the men stole a sum of cash and fled the scene.
No patrons were inside the premises at the time of the incident.
Following investigations by police, a stolen blue Holden Commodore station wagon was located on McGurren Street in South Grafton on 5 December.
Detectives have today released CCTV images of three men they believe maybe able to assist with investigations.
Strike Force Allfield comprises detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad and was established in January 2010 to investigate a series of violent armed robberies in the Coffs/Clarence and Mid North Coast areas.
