The new office will support the Tweed and Gold Coast regions by providing Community Aged Care Packages and Extended Aged Care packages funded by the Department of Health and Ageing for 60 local clients.
Mrs Elliot congratulated Care Connect on their new premises and declared the office officially open.
“This new office will enable Care Connect to provide important care services for the Tweed and Gold Coast communities,” she said.
“These services will make a real difference in the lives of our older residents.”
Care Connect is an independent not-for-profit organisation supporting individuals with complex care needs and their families/carers to live independently in their own home and community.
