The screening of the much-anticipated movie, Eat Pray Love, starring Julia Roberts, will be held at Ballina Fair cinemas on the 13th of October and in Lismore on the 21st, and Cancer Council NSW invite you to come along to see the movie and celebrate the launch of a month of ‘Pink events’.

This year the Far North Coast Office of Cancer Council is hosting the film nights to raise awareness of women’s cancers and to encourage all communities within the Far North Coast to help in efforts to defeat cancer.

Cancer Council dedicates this month to raising awareness for those women who have been diagnosed with either breast or gynaecological cancers.

Other events held during the month will include Pink Ribbon Day activities and Girl’s Night In events.
The money raised will go towards providing treatment, support, information, prevention and advocacy to those women whose lives have been touched by women’s cancers.

Tickets are $20 each and on the night guests will receive a glass of champagne on arrival as well as lucky door prizes.

To purchase tickets, visit the Cancer Council NSW Far North Coast office at 101-103 Main Street, Alstonville, or call the office on 02 6627 0300.

Grab a friend, relative or work colleague, dress up in pink and enjoy a fun night to fight against cancer!
