Far North Coaster weekend surf report

The surf action should be hot at Lennox Head this weekend, where the Red Bull Pro Junior event will be held.

And it looks like the weather gods will be kind, with a rise in swell and offshore winds.

Today the swell is relatively small, but the forecast is for an increase to 2m.

Offshores are predicted throughout the weekend.

Marine weather:

Friday: W/SW 10/15 knots. Sea: 1/1.5 metres. Swell: S about 1 metre increasing to about 2 metres.

Outlook Saturday: W/SW 5/15 knots, with afternoon seabreezes 8/13 knots. Sea: about 1 metre. Swell: S 1.5/2 metres.

Outlook Sunday: W/NW 5/15 knots increasing to W/SW 15/25 knots later.

Outlook Monday: Decreasing to SW 5/15 knots.
