After round two, two teams are on equal first — Casino Tatts and Lismore Daleys.

Next Saturday afternoon (17 May) these two teams will meet when Lismore Daleys host Casino Tatts in a game that will decide the outright leader of the competition after three rounds.

The game will start at 4pm at the Lismore Association Courts on Ballina Road Lismore.

A barbecue will operate and the game will be followed by a Coach Education skills session that is open to all coaches within the region to attend for the minimal cost of $10.

On Sunday the regional Foundation Netball Coaching Accreditation Course will be held at Lismore with 20 coaches trying to attain their entry level netball coaching qualification.

Regional Co-ordinator for Netball NSW Leslie Kirk said: “It’s a big weekend for netball in Lismore with a top-level game and the opportunity for coaches to enhance their netball knowledge and experience.”

In other games within the region, Ballina RSL will host Clarence Coast with the game to start at 3pm and Grafton Dex will host Byron 2481 with the game to start at 2.30pm.

“We have some first-rate netballers within the region who are rising to the challenge that this competition is providing. I encourage all supporters of netball young and old to attend their local game to see these players in action,” Kirk said.
