Ballina’s unbeaten run in Far North Coast Rugby Union has ended. The Seahorses lost 32-27 to a resurgent Southern Cross University at Ballina yesterday.

Uni crossed for five tries to Ballina’s four, but the win still sees them out of the top four.

Ballina still has an 11-point buffer at the top of the table.

Other weekend winners were Lismore over Coolangatta Tweed, Wollongbar Alstonville in a 71-0 shellacking of Grafton, and Lennox Head over Casino.
