Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League clubs have been put on notice to control any unruly behaviour from players and spectators.

Starting this weekend, clubs hosting fixtures have been warned they risk forfeiting matches if they do not provide a ground manager to control behaviour.

The ultimatum came at a meeting this week, where NRRRL clubs were told they must appoint ground managers whose role is to run through a checklist and talk to both benches and warn players and spectators about any derogatory incidents or comments.

Meanwhile, the feature match this weekend in round 14 is the clash at Grafton between the Ghosts and the Grafton Rhinos.

The Clarence local derby never fails to deliver a tough clash.
