Lennox Head stayed alive in Far North Coast rugby union on Saturday, beating Wollongbar Alstonville 27-14 in the minor semi-final.

The win means Lennox are still a chance of defending the premiership they won last year.

They now will meet the loser of next Saturday’s major semi-final between Ballina and Lismore at Ballina.
