Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League minor premiers Lower Clarence will host the 2009 NRRRL grand final after beating Mullumbimby 30-10 in today’s major semi-final at Maclean.

The ease of the win suggests that Lower Clarence will be extremely hard to beat in the grand final on Sunday, September 20.

Mullumbimby now will play Northern United in the preliminary final at Mullumbimby on Sunday, September 13. The winner advances to the grand final.

Northern United beat Grafton Ghosts 21-18 in a hard-fought minor semi-final at Crozier Field, Lismore, on Saturday.

Next Sunday’s final is a rematch of last weekend’s preliminary semi-final clash, which Mullumbimby won.
