Alex Gibbon named NSW rugby Junior Player of the Year

A Far North Coast junior rugby union player has been named as the Country Junior Player of the Year.

He is Wollongbar Alstonville junior Alex Gibbon.

NSWCJRU president Michael Dodd announced Alex as the 2009 NSW Country Juniors Player of the Year at the Wiz Golledge Memorial Day at Lorn.

Alex has been a member of the Under-17 NSW Country Juniors team this year and has also been selected in the NSW Juniors Under-17s team.

Alex plays in the centres.
