Local Attractions

Throughout the Far North Coast region has a number of attractions for the visitor. From the long sandy beaches which stretch the coastline, to the quaint rural communities, the National Parks and amazing scenary, the region has much to satisfy the traveller.

Moving from the north you can enjoy the large community of Tweed Heads, it beaches and it fascinating community. Across to the West there are the towns of Kyogle and Casino, which are the rural heart of the region. Midway along the coast are the towns of Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina, which are holiday maker havens, with excellent conditions and perfect beaches. In the south are the contrasting communities of Grafton and Yamba. The centre of the region is home to Lismore, an academic town and home to many major sporting events.
