About Lismore
Lismore is the largest town in the area and home to approximately 45,000 people. Lismore has the main cmapus for Southern Cross University and is home to a large farming community.
The town is located on the banks of the Wilsons River, with the Bruxner Highway running through the town. As one of the larger towns in the region, Lismore offers a wide array of activities, events and shopping options.
Lismore is an excellent place to base yourself to explore the region, with accommodation options to cater for all budgets and a central location to all the major towns.

There are many events on during the year especially sporting, cultural and local events. With a large university population the town comes alive during the university semesters and enjoys a relaxed atmosphere.
