A woman has been arrested and will face court following a stabbing at Casino last night.
About 10:10pm, police attended a house in Boronia Crescent after receiving reports of a stabbing at that location.
Police have been told that a 33-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man, both from Tabulam, had a verbal altercation outside the premises.
It is alleged that during the incident the woman produced a knife and stabbed the man twice in his back and arm.
Upon arrival, police located the injured man lying on the grass, where he was being assisted by a number of other people.
Police entered the residence and located and arrested the woman.
Detectives attended the scene and investigated the matter.
The man was taken to Casino Hospital by ambulance where he received treatment for his injuries.
The woman was taken to Casino Police Station where she was questioned and later charged with recklessly wounding another person.
She was granted bail and is due to appear at Casino Local Court on 6 August 2008.
