Richmond Area Command police arrested and charged 18 persons over the weekend for Drink Drive, Speeding, Disqualified or Suspended Driving Offences:

4.40pm Saturday: 17-year-old male stopped driving his 1989 Lancer on the Bruxner Highway near Northcotts Road, South Gundurimba, for speeding and disqualified driving.

8.25pm Saturday: 22-year-old male stopped for 121kph in 100 zone and charged with middle range PCA 0.065 near the intersection of Wyrallah Road and Tuckurimba Road, Wyrallah, driving his 1991 Mitsubishi.

1.42am Sunday: 19-year-old male high range PCA 0.150 River Street, Ballina, driving his 1997 Corolla.

9.20pm Friday: Bruxner Highway, Wollongbar, 43-year-old male Suspended driver in his 2007 Honda.

1.10am Saturday: Uralba Street, Lismore, 42-year-old male middle range PCA 0.080 driving his 1988 Mitsubishi.

1.50am Sunday: 23-year-old male for Disqualified West Street, Casino, driving his 1988 Ford.

1.11am Saturday: 21-year-old male 0.070 low range PCA Kellas Street, Lismore, driving his 1996 Hyundai.

8.50am Sunday: 29-year-old male Suspended driver on Bruxner Highway, Lismore, driving his 1994 Ford.

Two vehicles clocked at 146 and 160kph in (on P plates 90kph) limit100 zone on Evans Head Road, Evans Head, at 7.15pm on Saturday night driving a Commodore and Camry. One male aged 20 charged. Police investigation is continuing.

7.15pm Saturday: New Ballina Road, Lismore, 53-year-old male Mid Range PCA 0.085.

3.50am Saturday: 29-year-old male low PCA 0.055 on Suvla Street, East Ballina, driving his 1987 blue Holden.

9.08am Friday: 44-year-old male suspended driver and cancelled registration driving his 1996 Hyundai on Tregeagle Road, Tregeagle.

20-year-old male 150kph on P-plates (90) on Bruxner Highway, Alstonville ,at 12.01 Saturday driving his 1993 Holden.

42-year-old male High PCA 0.150 Ballina Road, Goonellabah, at 3.09am Saturday driving a 1984 Holden.

Police issued a Lismore licensee an infringement notice ($1100) of  ‘Licensee Permit Intoxication on Premises’ after police conducting a routine inspection sighted a breach of the act at 1.50am Saturday morning.

Lismore police are investigating an alleged Robbery with Aggravation of a Lismore male between 11.30pm Friday night and 12.30am Saturday morning. The incident occurred in Woodlark Street 15m east of Dawson Street.
