A man has been charged with drug offences following an ongoing police operation in northern NSW.
‘Operation Mickey’ was formed in March last year to investigate the street-level supply of prohibited drugs in the Nimbin area.
The operation used police from the Richmond Local Area Command Target Action Group.
Yesterday a 21-year-old man from Southport, Queensland, attended Tweed Heads Police Station where he was arrested.
He was charged with supply commercial quantity of prohibited drug and supply prohibited drug.
He was bailed to appear at Lismore Local Court on 16 February 2009.
