Police have formally identified a pedestrian who died in a crash in the Tweed region yesterday.
 
About 9.10am police and emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway at Sexton Hill following reports of a pedestrian struck by a truck. The man died at the scene.
 
Following investigations, police have identified the pedestrian as a 43-year-old Banora Point man. Due to family wishes, the man’s name will not be released.
 
Investigations into the incident continue, however, police are treating the incident as non-suspicious.
