Four more people have been arrested over an alleged break-in and theft at a school at Tabulam, bringing the total of those arrested to eight. 

Police from the Richmond Local Area Command have been investigating a recent spate of stolen vehicles and break and enter offences in the Tabulam area.

This includes a break-in at a school in Tabulam where money from a safe, power tools and other electrical items were allegedly stolen.

Police said the school’s office area was extensively damaged.

Yesterday, police arrested three juveniles and an adult at Tabulam.

Those juveniles have been charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, illegal use of a motor vehicle and traffic matters.

They were granted bail and are due to face Casino Children’s Court on 18 June 2008.

The adult is expected to face Casino Local Court later today on charges of aggravated break, enter and steal and six outstanding warrants on unrelated matters from the Moree area.

One adult and three further juveniles have already been arrested in relation to the break-in at the school.
