Fancy a jog through Ancient Gondwanaland where breath-taking views of the Washpool and Gibraltar Ranges will surely have any seasoned runner stop in awe of the landscape?

North Coast runners, joggers and morning walkers of all levels are being invited to join their Queensland cousins and participate in a trail fun-run that takes in the best possible scenery the North Coast has to offer.

The two-day event runs alongside pristine rivers and streams, temperate and sub-tropical rainforests, granite outcrops, cascades and wet heathlands.

Boredom will not be on the menu, nor a key feature of the weekend!

Serious trail runners can attempt a tougher 50km course while casuals enthusiasts can attempt a few shorter trails.

The event will be staged at the Washpool and Gibraltar Range National Parks on the 17/18th April.

This area is situated west of Grafton and Lismore, south of Tweed Heads and east of Glen Innes.

Base camp will be set from the historic town of Glenn Innes.

Pre-entry closes midnight Wednesday 14th April. Information and online entry available at www.runtrails.org or contact organiser Greg Waite P: 07 3869 1661 or email g_waite@optusnet.com.au
