Police are searching for three youths following a home invasion in Casino this morning.

About 11.15am, a 68-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man were tied up after being confronted inside their Jasmine Street house at Casino.

The three youths, two armed with a packing knife, stole several items before driving from the scene in the couple’s car.

The woman managed to free herself and call police. Neither of them was injured.

Police established a crime scene and have been searching the area for the three males and the stolen car.

The first male is described is being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 12 and 15 years, thin build and was wearing a white baseball cap, a white long-sleeve top, long plants and sneakers.

The second male is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 15 and 17 years, medium build and was wearing a black top, camouflage pants and white sneakers.

The third male is of Caucasian appearance, aged 17 or 18 years, about 183cm tall, with a fair complexion and was wearing a grey top and dark pants.

The stolen car is a yellow 1989 model Ford Laser with NSW registration RFQ-586.

There have been sightings of the car in the Lismore area.
