Three teenagers are assisting with inquiries after an alleged home invasion in tCasino yesterday.
About 11.15am yesterday, a 68-year-old woman and an 84-year-old man were tied up after being confronted inside their Jasmine Street house at Casino.
It will be alleged the three youths stole several items before driving from the scene in the couple’s car.
The woman managed to free herself and call police. Neither of them was injured.
Police established a crime scene and searched the area for the three males and the stolen car.
This morning police arrested three teenage boys – a 16-year-old from North Parramatta, a 14-year-old from Tweed Heads and a 13-year-old boy from Merrylands.  They were arrested at Ocean Shores, north of Byron Bay.
They have been taken to Byron Bay Police Station where they are assisting with inquiries.
The stolen car is a yellow 1989 model Ford Laser was recovered in the Ocean Shores area.
