Far North Coast rugby union competition leaders Ballina continued their run of successes with a 19-15 win over Coolangatta Tweed on Saturday.

The win sees Ballina with an 11-point buffer over second-placed Wollongbar Alstonville, who beat Lennox Head 21-17 yesterday.

Other winners were Southern Cross over Lismore and Grafton, who finally cracked a win, 15-14 over fourth-placed Casino.
