Far North Coast Rugby Union competition pacesetters Ballina have fallen to a third successive loss, this time to defending premiers Lennox Head.
The 25-5 win has seen Lennox Head consolidate its late-season charge to a finals berth, and has reduced Ballina’s competition lead to only three ahead of Lismore, who had a convincing 48-6 win over Grafton yesterday.
In other games, Coolangatta Tweed beat Wollongbar Alstonville 33-17, and Casino beat Southern Cross 26-20.
