Leslie Kirk, FNC Netball NSW Regional Co-ordinator, said: “The competition has proved very popular with players who enjoy the consistently high standard of game play.

“Any drop in concentration or lapse in performance allows the opposition to gain momentum with the results so far reflecting some hard fought struggles.”

“Fitness is certainly the X factor as players push to give their consistent best performance over the whole four quarters.

“Umpires are also gaining from this competition as it provides the opportunity to apply their skills at this higher level.”

The competition takes a short recess and recommences on the 21 June with Byron 2481 hosting Ballina RSL at Mullumbimby, start time 3.15pm, Grafton DEX will host Casino Tatts at Grafton, start time 4.30pm, and Lismore Daleys will host Clarence Coast at Lismore, start time 3pm.
