After a positive start to their National Junior Championships with a win and a draw in Day 1 action, the Northern NSW Under 13 boys side faced up against Victoria Metro in game one today.

From the outset the Victorian squad outmuscled the Northern side and continued their unbeaten record at the Championships, beating Northern NSW 2-0.

In their second game, Northern NSW came up against Queensland, who came into Day 2 with one win and one loss from Day 1 matches.

In a repeat of game one, Northern NSW were defeated 2-0 by the Queensland side, leaving all hope of a second victory placed on the last match to be played on Day 3.

Northern NSW will play their final match tomorrow, Day 3 (Saturday April 10) against Western Australia at 8:30am.
